Emerson Employee (Makeshift) Food Pantry
Emerson employees are on the front lines. They are in close contact with people who may or may not be infected with the Coronavirus. Although Emerson is trying their best to keep their employees safe, COVID-19 is an incredibly contagious virus. If any Emerson employee shows any symptoms of the virus, they must be quarantined for 14 days. This means that another employee must take over their job. In addition to COVID-19, the hospital still has to combat the regular cases of major injuries or other illnesses. Many employees at Emerson are working double shifts, leaving little time for their families. This is why we created the Emerson Food Pantry. The money you donate will go towards buying food from local grocery stores. This food will be delivered to Emerson Hospital, where it will be set up in a makeshift pantry for the hospital employees. There will be quick snacks for employees to enjoy during breaks and nonperishable foods/meals that they can bring home to their families. This is all meant to save time and show our appreciation to the workers who are putting their lives on the line to fight this epidemic. Click the button below to donate towards this fund.
